Your browser, your preferences
What Study Shelf stores.
Your reading preferences stay in your browser. You do not need an account to read the notes.
Saved on this device
Your theme choice, reading font and text size, bookmarked note IDs, and up to eight recently viewed note IDs are stored in this browser’s local storage. They are not synced to an account or another device.
Search and external links
Search runs against the published catalogue in your browser. The query appears in the page URL and may be recorded in browser history or hosting logs when that URL is loaded. Reference links take you to separate websites with their own privacy practices.
Contact messages
The Contact form asks for your name, email, category, subject, optional page link, and message. Submission is not available yet. Fields stay in memory while the page is open and are not saved or sent to a server. You can email Study Shelf directly; those emails may be retained to answer your question or investigate a correction.
Fonts and analytics
Fonts are served with this website, without a Google Fonts request. This frontend currently includes no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookie-based account system. Hosting providers may maintain operational request logs.
Clearing your data
Remove individual bookmarks from Saved notes. Clear all preferences and bookmarks through your browser’s site-data controls. You can clear just the recent-reading list below.
