About Study Shelf

Learn the subject, beyond the next exam.

A growing collection of computing notes built around understanding, worked examples, and the questions worth asking.

A clearer path through a topic

Study Shelf organises material by course, semester, subject, and unit. Chapters connect syllabus topics with the background, mechanisms, applications, and trade-offs needed to understand them. Worked examples and tagged questions support both exam revision and deeper computing study.

Who creates the material

Study Shelf is maintained by Dev Kant Kumar, an MCA student building a useful learning resource as the collection grows. The site is built by Unyrise Tech. It is an independent project, not an official university publication or a substitute for your institution’s assessment guidance.

What is available now

15 chapters are currently published. MCA Semester 1, Fundamentals of Computers, Unit 1 covers all 15 distinct topics in the supplied unit outline. The remaining units and subjects are still being developed. BCA material and verified previous-year questions are planned.

The syllabus and your course

The MCA organisation follows the supplied Vinoba Bhave University CBCS syllabus introduced in 2020-22, with study session 2026-28 displayed separately. The technical concepts are useful internationally. Compare your current syllabus and course requirements before using the collection to plan an examination.
